How do I enable Headsum Cloud?

Open the app, go to Settings, and toggle Headsum Cloud on. That's it — your transcriptions will immediately start using cloud infrastructure for better accuracy and lower latency.

What are my free limits?

The free tier is designed to give you a fair amount of usage to try Headsum properly. We monitor usage quietly in the background — if it looks like you're consistently pushing the limits, we'll reach out. No hard sell, no inbox terror.

What platforms does Headsum support?

Headsum is currently Mac-only and optimised for Apple Silicon. Windows support is not available.

Does it require calendar or meeting platform access?

No. Headsum works independently — no plugins, no integrations with Zoom or Teams required. It simply listens in the background.

Is my conversation data stored?

Headsum combines on-device AI with cloud services. It is not designed as a transcript archive. You control your data.

Do I need to inform meeting participants?

Yes. You must inform meeting participants that Headsum is present. This is a requirement of using the product.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
